PDX Code Guild is dedicated to the student experience. PDX isn’t worried about pushing students through as fast as they can, because they truly believe in their students. They also believe that education is best when absorbed and not rushed. PDX offers a comprehensive program that helps students develop well-rounded technical skills with a basic understanding of multiple subjects. PDX pushes beyond the basic syntax and one language classes to really help students see the full benefit of a career in the coding world. This helps them unlock the potential that coding skills give them.
PDX Code Guild offers a variety of courses to suit every student’s needs. PDX code is focuses on helping students become well-rounded full stack developers. Students will focus on Python, HTML/CSS, Django, Database Design, API’s, and more. Students also have access to an introductory programming course and an advanced portfolio building bootcamp dedicated to help students prepare for an interview by developing a portfolio and resume. PDX curriculum is made by coders for coders and is determined to keep up with industry standards. PDX constantly evaluates its curriculum and educational content as new innovations take hold throughout the tech industry.
PDX Code Guild offers a variety of different bootcamps to fit everyone’s schedule. PDX offers a full-time day bootcamp which runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and an evening full-time bootcamp that runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. PDX also offers an intro course that runs 3 times a week for 2 weeks, though specific meeting times vary per session.
PDX Code Guild is dedicated to the career advancement of its students. In addition to having access to a portfolio bootcamp, students will also participate in a variety of projects including a capstone project that can be used as a foundation for their technical portfolio. PDX Code Guild’s goal is to help students launch a high-paying tech career that offers robust growth, and is also flexible and fulfilling work that inspires students to create and innovate. PDX grads went on to work for a variety of large companies including Nike, IBM, Elemental, Urban Airship, and many more.
PDX Code Guild offers a variety of different coding bootcamps and educational courses ranging from $7,500 to $18,400. These courses range in price and vary based on the length and content of each program. Students receive various tuition discounts for paying course costs early. Discounts can range up $1,000 depending on the date of payment and the program. PDX is also a partner of lender Skillsfund and works to offer competitive loans with low interest rates and hassle free payment plans. PDX offers a variety of in house needs based scholarships that total up to $16,500. Students are also eligible to apply for state and federal educational grants on top of any additional scholarships received from PDX. PDX Code Guild also proudly accepts G.I. Bill veteran’s benefits.
