The University of Oregon Bootcamp is dedicated to helping students take a comprehensive hands on approach to technical learning. The University of Oregon Bootcamps is also a big supporter of the power of collaboration and prioritizes group and pair programming within its curriculum. Nestled in the lush Willamette Valley, the University of Oregon is a close drive to both the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains. UO is known for its rigorous academic research and this same dedicated to studies carries over to it’s technical bootcamp programs.
The University of Oregon Bootcamp programs run for 24 weeks or 6 months at a time. Classes run weekday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm plus on Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm to accommodate students who have obligations or currently work during the day. However, the program is still rigourous with students being expected to complete an extra 20 hours of homework outside of class each week.
The University of Oregon Bootcamp is highly dedicated to the career success of its students. During the program students receive career planning assistance which includes portfolio reviews, resume and social media support, mock interviews, one on one career coaching sessions, career content and practice sessions, soft skills training, and much more. Students also gain access to a dedicated Profile Coach and a Career Director that will work with students throughout the program to ensure that they’re ready to be “employer competitive” upon graduation. Students also gain insights to the tech industry with quarterly “Tech Talks” with include online panels with tech industry professionals and experts.
The total program cost as the University of Oregon Bootcamp is $11,495. Students receive a $1,000 tuition cost discount if their tuition is paid in full before the beginning of their desired program. Additionally, University of Oregon alumni receive a $500 tuition scholarship.
